If you grew up watching skiing in the late 1990s and early 2000s, Jonny Moseley is etched into memory: the gold in Nagano’s moguls competition, his original trick called the “dinner roll,” and a hosting turn on Saturday Night Live that brought ski culture into the mainstream. His career is shorthand for progression and joy — the very energy at the heart of Velvære.
